Naje Health is a digital healthcare platform focused on improving diabetes management and long-term patient care through technology.
As the lead systems and software engineer on the project, I was responsible for translating healthcare requirements into a functional digital platform, designing the system architecture, defining user workflows, and leading the development of the software that patients and healthcare practitioners interact with.
The platform was designed to support continuous diabetes care by connecting patients with healthcare professionals through structured digital processes, including patient onboarding, appointment management, health record management, practitioner workflows, follow-up care, and ongoing patient engagement.
One of the key challenges in healthcare technology is ensuring that clinical processes are accurately reflected within the software. The project required extensive analysis of healthcare workflows, patient journeys, practitioner requirements, and operational processes to create a system that is both practical and easy to use.
Beyond software development, the project involved designing the underlying systems that support continuity of care, helping healthcare providers manage patient interactions more effectively while improving access to healthcare services for patients living with diabetes.
